The system automatically detects the type of spinal curvature, distinguishing between S-shaped and C-shaped curves, identifies the major curve, and determines its orientation. It also detects and highlights the spine to ensure a focused, accurate analysis. Additionally, it evaluates the severity of the deformity, providing a clearer understanding of scoliosis progression and categorizing it as mild, moderate, or severe. By combining advanced image processing with analytical modeling, OrthAxis 1.2 allows for a more accurate, consistent, and efficient evaluation of spinal alignment within clinical workflows.

The Orthaxis 1.2 Core Model is specifically trained to recognize and highlight the vertebral column, providing details about its shape. It excels at identifying complex structural patterns, such as S- and C-curves, which are hallmark indicators of scoliosis. Rather than a manual check, the model automatically detects these curvatures, offering a clear visual guide for structural assessment.
